Pairing a device

ThoxMicroV uses one-time pairing tokens to enroll a ThoxOS device into the operator console. The handshake is initiated by the device, completes in roughly sixty seconds, and surfaces the device in the dashboard immediately afterward.

    Sign in as admin and open Admin → Pairing tokens.

    Click "Issue pairing token" and copy the value.

    On the device host, run: docker exec -it thoxos-node-a thoxosctl pair --token TOKEN

    The device completes the ~60-second handshake and appears in Devices.

After pairing

The device shows under Devices with its variant (Intel or NVIDIA Jetson), architecture, ThoxOS version, hostname, and last heartbeat. Granting dashboard or terminal access is a separate step handled in the Admin Console under Device Grants.
