Engineering preview

ThoxOS Linux kernel and operating system

The next ThoxOS line is a THOX Linux kernel and operating system built as the desk-class intelligence layer for selected THOX products. The first engineering preview images are ThoxOS Desk for ThoxKey Pro and ThoxOS Desk for ThoxMini v100.

  • Same ThoxOS family across desktop, device, and Desk images.
  • Local-first by default. Hosted connections stay explicit.
  • Product names only. Internal hardware design stays unpublished.

Questions

Is ThoxOS a separate product from MeshStack?
Yes. ThoxOS is the device intelligence and UX layer. MeshStack is the private mesh. ThoxWork is the coming workspace layer. Those are the three platform layers.
Where does ThoxBeam fit?
ThoxBeam is the drive-resident runtime engine that ships on ThoxKey and extends ThoxOS. It is not a fourth platform.
Can I download ThoxOS today?
Desktop ThoxOS is available now for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Public installer URLs publish when each build has a public home. Device-specialized builds ship with their THOX devices.
