Bring your instructions.
Keep your review.

Watch the introduction, follow the transfer steps, and share the guide with your team. Start with instructions you own and decide separately whether to upload a reviewed profile to the hosted guest workspace.

These website editions describe the v1.2.10 transfer flow. The current workspace shows its availability, limits and consent before a live run.

27-second introduction

A profile transfer you can inspect

See supported instruction sources move through conversion, review and a virtual roster. A downloaded file stays under your control until you choose a destination and review it there.

Start with a supported file

Grok text, Hermes SOUL.md, Pi instruction files, Markdown, or compatible Employee JSON.

Read before continuing

Review raw instructions and declared source identity. Remove private information before acknowledging.

Choose where the profile goes

Rehearse an import in browser memory, download reviewed JSON, or upload it through the separate hosted review.

Introduction transcript and visual description

0:00–0:04. Your instructions. Your employee. Move the profiles you own into a controlled browser rehearsal.

0:04–0:09. Bring Grok instruction text, Hermes SOUL.md, or Pi instruction files you own.

0:09–0:14. Review the conversion in your browser. No account connection or AI call.

0:14–0:20. Rehearse profiles in a browser-only virtual workspace. It disappears when the page reloads.

0:20–0:24. Review before export. Saving a file does not install it into another agent.

0:24–0:27. Try the browser-only transfer. Hosted AI needs separate consent and is subject to daily limits.

The animation uses a black technical grid and THOX green. Instruction-source cards converge into a reviewed employee profile, which moves into a virtual roster and then into a reviewed JSON or instruction-file download.

Five steps

From owned instructions to a reviewed profile

  1. Choose instructions you own

Open the profile transfer tool and choose the matching source. Paste Grok instruction text, provide Hermes SOUL.md or Pi AGENTS.md / SYSTEM.md, use Markdown, or select supported Employee JSON. Supply the name, role and stable source ID when requested.

  2. Review the full conversion

Choose Review conversion, then inspect every raw instruction, identity and warning. Remove private information and unwanted behavior. Source labels and IDs are declarations, not proof of authorship. Tools, credentials, memories and conversations stay outside the transfer.

  3. Acknowledge and rehearse the import

Check the review acknowledgment to unlock download and Import into virtual workspace. The virtual roster lets you inspect profiles in browser memory. Reloading or leaving clears it. This rehearsal uploads no profile and makes no source-account connection or AI call.

  4. Choose the hosted workspace separately

Download the reviewed Employee JSON first. In the guest workspace, choose Employees → Import employee JSON. Selecting that file uploads it to the guest session for a new preview. Review replacement choices and confirm there. Importing a profile starts no task and grants no permission.

  5. Review each written contribution

Create a task and choose its employee order. Before a live run, read and accept hosted AI consent, then check the displayed availability and daily limits. Completed contributions remain reviewable. View task opens the matching task; approval records your decision and performs no external action.

Keep the reviewed file portable

After a virtual import, choose a profile and destination format, review the generated instructions, acknowledge the export and download. Place the file manually in the destination application.

Instruction-file exports carry text only and omit JSON identity and provenance. Keep Employee JSON alongside them when you need that metadata. A download does not install, configure or run an agent.
