Start with a non-sensitive task
ThoxEmployee is a supervised text workspace. The public demo uses hosted AI and a temporary guest session. It does not run on your device, and you do not need to supply an API key.
Choose up to 3 employees per task in the demo. They work in the selected order, with each employee receiving the preceding written result. Creating or editing a task does not make an AI call.
- Open the workspace and review the employee names, roles and standing instructions.
- Write a short title and brief using public or synthetic information, then choose the team and its order.
- Read the hosted-processing disclosure and give consent before starting live AI.
- Inspect the written outputs and final draft. Approve or reject the draft after your own review.
- Download the Markdown record before your guest access expires. Review the file before sharing it.
Understand calls and daily limits
Each employee step uses one AI call. A three-employee task can use three calls; retrying also uses calls. The current daily allowance is 6 calls per guest, 18 per network address and 120 across the demo. Daily counters reset at 00:00 UTC.
A reserved call stays counted if its request fails, is interrupted or is cancelled. Clearing the workspace does not reset usage, and a new tab does not bypass network or shared limits.
Creating a guest has a separate limit: 6 new guests per network address and 300 across the demo each UTC day. That limit does not remove an existing guest or its remaining call allowance. Continue in the same browser session where possible.
Save work before guest access expires
Guest access lasts 24 hours. Expired workspace content is removed by an hourly cleanup job; this is not an immediate deletion guarantee for infrastructure logs or backups. Export anything you want to keep.
The guest session belongs to the browser cookie. Clearing cookies or switching browsers can make that session inaccessible. Signing into a THOX account does not turn the guest workspace into an account-synchronized workspace.
Profile JSON and a task Markdown record serve different purposes. Profile exchange moves reviewed employee definitions. The Markdown export records written task work and review history.
If a run stops or the demo is unavailable
For a usage-limit message, wait for the indicated reset or retry time. People sharing a network can share its allowance, and the shared demo allowance can be exhausted even if your guest has calls left.
If a run is interrupted, inspect its saved status and outputs before deciding whether to retry. Incomplete output is not a completed task. A retry can consume another call.
If another tab changed the workspace, refresh and review the latest state before editing again. If live AI is temporarily unavailable, keep or export the saved work that remains accessible and try again later.
Approval records your review of text. It does not send messages, execute tools, change a device or grant permissions to an imported employee.
